When I drag a jpg into a new custom icon set, it shows up as a generic jpg and no graphic. Anyone get this to work?

When I drag a FolderBranded folder to the dock, it reverts back to a generic icon (while still remaining unchanged in the Finder). I'm dragging the folder to the right hand side of the dock where all the dock item folders are stored. Any tips? Thank you. Olwyn

The same thing is happening to me as well. Please advise how to correct this problem.

Just re-installed Mac OS10.5. Tried to open FolderBrander and the process froze. Downloaded FolderBrander and replaced the application. It froze again, and continues to freeze, when I tried to open FB. Help.

Please try removing the preference file and see if that fixes it. To do so, open Home/Library/Preferences in the Finder and look for the file com.yellowmug.FolderBrander.plist. Drag it to Trash.
Also, if you can send me the "bad" preference file, I can try to figure out why it was freezing up.
Thanks.

Dumped PREFs, reregistered- and I still have same problem. It worked fine in OS 10.4, but in 10.5, when the folder is dragged to the dock, it reverts to Leopard plain vanilla.
Do I have to REmake all my folders with the new prefs?

desertboomer,
Mac OS X 10.5 displays folders in the Dock as "Stacks" by default. To change that, control-click on the folder in the Dock and in the contextual menu, select "Folder" for the "Display as" option.

How do I make custom folders?
Is there an FAQ somewhere that I've overlooked?
Thanks for any help.
